What I wore in March
For last month (can you believe it's already April??), I have a super short What I wore in March post because things have been crazy busy and I haven't had time to shoot anything except one... To give you guys a quick update, I finished my internship yesterday and now am in full on planning mode for my next holiday in around two weeks' time. I can't remember if I've mentioned it on nnyley yet but I'm doing around two or three weeks of travelling in Australia to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. I'm beyond excited because I haven't been to Australia since I was about 10 years old so I'm excited to see all the sights again and have those amazing food I've been lusting over on Instagram for ages. But I'm getting ahead of myself and am already diving into my April plans. Writing this, I've realised that I haven't spent the month of March in Seoul for around 10 years. That's crazy and it's such a shame because it's one of the nicest months to be in Korea I think. The weather changes from the brutal coldness to a lot sunnier temperature and towards the end of March, flowers tend to bloom all over the city like fireworks that have exploded overnight. It's probably one of my favourite sights to see and lifts my mood instantly. Speaking of flowers, I'm beyond excited to be here during the cherry blossoms season, which is to be in about a week's time. But I'm rambling again... Time to get into this outfit post.
For a short girl like me, even some casual outfits like this one needs a little bit of effort. I love wearing baggy clothes like this jumper but they drown me out and make me look about 7 years old so I always need to (well not need but tend to) wear heels if I'm wearing something a little oversized. Side note: I'm super jealous of Ashley because her initials are AS and Acne only makes these jumpers with the letters A and S. I'm digressing again... Back to the post.
See what I mean about the flowers? That burst of yellow is soooo dreamy...
Celine Sunglasses / Acne Studios Jumper / Jeffrey Campbell Shoes
Okay I don't know how I've come so far in this post with no mention of my shoes. They are the star of the show right? We're currently in the process of moving in Seoul (to a flat literally down the street from ours) so I'm going through my clothes, shoes, bags, and the lot and figuring out which ones to keep, donate, and throw away. I'm actually shocked at how much I've accumulated over the years and thinking that this isn't even all of my stuff as I still have my clothes in London freaks me out because even if I wore something new every day, I don't think I will be able to wear all of my clothes before I'm 30. That's crazy. So while sorting through my things, I found this pair of shoes that I forgot I had even bought. It's so different and fun - the colours remind me of classic Chanel but at the same time, the huge gap in the middle of the shoes make it so different. I wasn't surprised to see it was Jeffrey Campbell. As most of his shoes are, they're really comfortable despite looking terrifyingly high. I feel as though I don't even have to tell you guys this made it into the keep pile.
So that's it for this March outfit post. Hope you enjoyed and thank you so much for reading. I have a lot of exciting stuff coming up on nnyley in the coming weeks - as mentioned, I have that Australia trip planned, so make sure to come back next Saturday for a brand new post!
