What I wore in January
I wanted to do a quick post to round up of what I wore in January (if you didn't know, this isn't an exclusive travel blog - I've really been slacking with outfit posts!!)
I don't know if you'll be scrolling so far back on this blog or don't know if anyone has noticed but I actually deleted most my outfit posts because I wasn't too happy with them. The main reason why I started them in the first place was to share EVERY WEEK the outfits I loved but clearly that didn't happen so thought it needed a bit of a re-jig . I guess I underestimated how much effort goes into doing outfit posts - from getting someone to take photos for you (super hard, since I'm not always with Ashley), scouting for places to shoot, posing (THE most awkward part) and all that... Would love to do more of them here because I love sharing them but for the moment, it'll have to be some sort of a round up one. Also I had such a positive response to my NYC outfit post which was also a combined one so I'll try to do this kind of post every month. Let me know what you guys think!
Having said all that, this month has actually been so hectic from starting a new internship to travelling and settling into a new routine in Seoul that I only have one outfit to show you guys. I've actually got myself more organised and planned out future blog posts so hopefully there will be more of this kind next month.
Now if you're thinking, "why is she not wearing a coat?!" I can safely say this was taken in Kyoto last week where the weather averaged around 15 degrees. It was blissful. Writing this on a cold evening in Seoul, I'm already wishing I could go back...
This jumper is from Sandro - I love how baggy and soft it is. It's also the perfect length as I like my winter jumpers to be snuggly instead of tight-fitting. These trousers are from Topshop and although I love them so much (the fit is PERFECT AND it's glittery, what more can I say?), sadly I'm not going to get much wear out of this one because it's just so darn sparkly and glitter literally gets everywhere when I wear them. As mentioned this was shot when I was travelling in Kyoto and so I've paired it with comfortable trainers and a cross-body bag. I tried to find links for all of these but I think they're all sold out :( If I can't find links for the exact items would you like me to leave links to similar ones? Let me know in the comments below!
Hope you guys enjoyed this super short outfit post. Please follow nnyley on Bloglovin' to keep up with all our future posts and to save them to your collection! Thank you for reading x
