hi.

We're London/Seoul based sisters and nnyley is as a travel/lifestyle/fashion blog that we started in 2014. We created this blog to document our adventures around the world and write about our outfits and different artists that inspire us. Hope you enjoy guys!

What I wore in February

What I wore in February

Happy March you guys! Can you believe it's already been two months since the start of 2017? As promised, I have a round up of some (read: two) outfits I wore in February. I'm glad I'm sticking with doing these outfit posts because it's a way to document what I wear and gives me more of an excuse to branch out from wearing the same outfit EVERY SINGLE DAY. If you'd like to see last month's post, click here.

This is my one outfit that I wear on repeat so I can just rush out the door without thinking too much about it. It's so simple yet (in my opinion) looks polished without trying too hard. I've finally got myself this fringed cropped jeans that everyone and their mothers have been wearing and I don't know why I was so late to the party. It adds something more fun to your outfit while still maintaining that minimalist look with the black colour. Also, having a thin turtleneck in your wardrobe can be a lifesaver - you can pair it pretty much anyway you want... Underneath chunky jumpers, on its own or under those camisoles that are super in at the moment to maintain that cool vibe but keeping warm too. You name it. I thought my whole look was a little too monochrome (even if that's my fave) on a sunny day so I paired it with this chunky knit cardigan. I would've paired it with a grey one normally but the sun does bring out my good mood. Even if some people *ehem looking at you Ashley* say this looks a little granny-ish, I still love it for it's unique speckles and the bright colour. These shoes have been featured on nnyley way back when so you can tell they are one of my most worn pairs. They're just so damn comfy and gives me the height I need. In other words? They're perfect.

I've always noticed that in offices or in libraries, especially when it's cold outside, they put the temperature up so high that you end up sweating so much (tmi?) if you only put on one thick layer. You can't resort to taking off that thick jumper with nothing underneath, can you? I feel like that in my office because it's been a little cold outside in Seoul yet in my office, the heater is on full blast and it feels like we've fast forwarded into scorching hot summer. Obviously that's when layering comes in handy. I'm wearing a pretty thick t shirt here with a checked shirt and a leather jacket (Matrix, anyone?) When I get to the office I replace the leather jacket with a gilet and that's how I've been surviving this weather. This particularly day wasn't an office day though and I was going out for lunch with some friends so I brought along this fun sparkly bag and paired it with chunky boots perfect for exploring around Seoul.

Hope you enjoyed this post you guys and let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to see here on nnyley related to fashion. Maybe a 'Fave Five' series to go through my favourite bags, shoes, and clothes? Also, what do you think of this new style of post? I've been experimenting on Photoshop a little bit recently so what I'm doing is definitely nothing fancy but would love to hear your thoughts. See you next Saturday for a brand new post and don't forget to follow us on Bloglovin' to stay up to date with our posts! You can also follow me (@jennyseong) and Ashley (@ashleyseong) on Instagram as we post regularly there also. Hope you have a good weekend, fully charging for the next week ahead x
